Supporting Multiple Localizations – New Feature
Up until now, you could use SheerSEO to track your keywords in one localization (combination of country and language). So, for example, you could track your keywords for United Kingdom, or United States. But what happens if you have audience in multiple countries, like we do, or if you happen to live in a country that has multiple languages, like Canada or Belgium. At last, we got the solution for you.
SheerSEO now supports tracking multiple localizations for SEO. I think this is a great feature that you can’t get in desktop tools.
Here is one of our main search terms, “seo software”, in different localizations:

Here is how you can set this up. First of all, you need to see what is your default localization. This is found on your account settings screen. If you are set wrongly there, it is time to fix it. Now, each search term you want to track in a different localization than your default one, just go to the search terms admin and add a line in the following format: “search term**localization code”. There is a list of those localization codes at the bottom of the page. So, for tracking “seo software” on UK, you need to add the line “seo software**uk” in the search terms admin page.

Thanks for this new feature. It really helps when tracking for Belgium and also for tracking like you do for one term in different localizations. Great that you could make this so fast. When I have some more experience in working with it I will feedback if I see area of improvement.
